The Japanese have this wonderful philosophy for fixing broken pottery. It's called Kintsugi - which is the art of fixing broken pottery with lacquer resin mixed with powdered gold, platinum or silver. They believe that embracing the flaws and imperfections speaks to acknowledging a difficult event in life rather than end its service because of the damage. The metal filling creates a history with the object and it is therefore seen as more beautiful.  This is my Kintsugi - angels made from broken shell pieces, because there is
nothing I love more than taken something broken and making it beautiful.

We would all do well to understand that some of our mistakes, or cracks, or hurts, have led us to something more profound in life, and are therefore, beautiful expressions of our ever evolving soul.

Great Valentine gift for all the little angels in your life.
